Community Guidelines 📜

The short version

Our goal is for Musubi to be an safe and authentic place for inspiration and expression. Help us make it that way by posting only non-offensive photos & videos and by following the law. Do not spam people or post offensive material / nudity.

The long version

• Respect one another ✔️
  Our goal is to foster a positive and diverse community, while keeping it safe & family-friendly. In order to do this, we require every user to be respectful towards each other in our platform. Users who break this rule will result in their account(s) being banned permanently.
• Foster meaningful & genuine connections ✔️
  At Musubi, we encourage users to share their valuable ideas / stories / experiences with the other users of this platform. The quality of connections you make in this platform lies in your hands. Be respectful in your interactions with the other members and do not make any unrealistic or false promises to them.
• Follow the law ✔️
  Musubi does not support terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups. We also do not allow private individuals to buy or sell firearms, alcohol, pharmaceutical drugs, and tobacco products between themselves, or to offer sexual services.
  

  We actively montior content posted on the website and web-application & will remove content that attempts to promote or advertise any of the restricted content as mentioned above. Any other content that are deemed disruptive or offensive will also be removed. We may also report any unlawful activities to the relevant authorities, if deemed necessary.
• NO spamming or false advertising ❌
  There's nothing worse than seeing the same message(s) in multiple articles, chats, or comments.
• NO inappropriate profile pictures ❌
  While Musubi currently does not support the uploading of custom profile photos / pictures, it however still uses your display photo / picture from your Google / Facebook / Twitter / Github account as the display photo in your Musubi account.
  

  If we detect any inappropriate profile pictures / photos that are being used, such accounts will be banned permanently. This is to ensure Musubi remains a safe community for all to use.
• NO posting of inappropriate content / photos ❌
  Those users who upload inappropriate, pornographic or offensive content to Musubi will be banned from the community. We will also remove such posts entirely from our website and web-application. This is to ensure that Musubi remains a safe community for all to use.
• NO scamming / fraud / fake accounts ❌
  Any law-breaking activities such as scamming / fraud / creation of fake accounts for the purpose of deceiving others are strictly not allowed in our community. We will not hesistate to ban such users who participate, promote, advocate such activities so as to protect the safety of our other users.
• NO cyber-bullying or harassment ❌
  Musubi does not allow content that threatens individuals. Additionally, we do not allow content that targets a person with prolonged or malicious insults based on their intrinsic characteristics, such as their protected group status or physical characteristics.
  

  We actively monitor content that are posted on the platform, and content which are deemed inappropriate or have been flagged to be inappropriate by users via the 'Report User' form, will be removed from our website and web application.
• NO offensive language or disruptive behavior ❌
  All communications should be respectful. Disagreements are fine; personal attacks are not. Comments or content that are violent, threatening, abusive, sexually explicit, obscene, offensive, or hateful will not be tolerated.
  

  Such users, if found to violate this particular community rule / guideline, will be banned without hesistation (after thorough investigation by our admins). We wish to re-iterate that Musubi was designed to be a safe & friendly environment for all to share and express their ideas, and we do not tolerate such disruptive and disrespectful behaviour to our users.
• NO staff impersonation ❌
  We do not tolerate users who try to impersonate our appointed admin(s) and moderators. Any user who tries to impersonate our staff will be banned permanently.
• NO offensive usernames ❌
  Do not choose account names that are offensive, misleading, disruptive, or promotional. The username should represent one individual; do not use the name of your organization.
